Booking.
Q.The availability calendar is showing that my preferred
dates are available. Is this always correct?
A.Yes. We always take care to update the availability calendar when
we receive a customer's deposit payment.
Q. What is the changeover day?
A. We do not have a specific changeover day.
Q. The period I want to book runs into a higher price band so how do
I calculate the rent?
A. Calculate the rent on a pro rata basis.
Q. How can I pay?
A. You can either send a cheque with your booking form or pay
online with Paypal using any major credit card.
Q. How much is the initial deposit?
A. The non-refundable deposit is 30% and the 70% balance will be
due two months before you stay.
Q. Can I cancel my booking with you?
A. Not once you have paid the deposit. For this reason I would
suggest you take out a travel insurance policy.
Q. I have completed the booking form. Does this mean the booking
is now safe?
A. The booking is not confirmed until we have received your
deposit. However, we will hold this space for you for a few days
to give you a chance to pay the deposit.
Q. What time will the apartment be available for us?
A. We will have the apartment ready for you by 4 pm.
Q. What time should we vacate the apartment?
A. We ask our guests to vacate the apartment by 11 am.
Q. Can I bring my small, well behaved dog?
A. We are very sorry but dogs are not allowed.
Q. How will I find the way to the property?
A. Once you have paid in full we will send you the full
address, clear directions, phone numbers and all the
information you will need, including how to access the apartment.
Q. What is the next stage?
A. Just complete the booking form and we will take it from
there.
Q. Can I cancel my booking with you?
A. Not once you have paid the deposit. For this reason I would
suggest you take out a travel insurance policy.
About the property.
Q. Is there any outside space?
A. There is no outside space. Most of the locals wander down to the
beach for sunshine.
Q. How far is the nearest sandy beach?
A. Less than one minutes walk.
Q. How far to the nearest good shops, restaurants,
pubs and cafes?
A. About two minutes walk.
Q. Is there parking close by?
A. The nearest parking is about ten minutes walk.
Q. How much does it cost to park?
A. At the Pay & Display Millpool car park the summer charge is
£4.50 per day or £22.00 per week, much less in the winter.
Q. Can I park my motorbike right outside the apartment?
A. Yes.
Q. How long does it take to walk from the Railway Station?
A. Just under fifteen minutes.
Q. Are either of the apartments suitable for someone with a
mobility issue?
A. Both apartments are located up a flight of stone steps above
The Old Cornish Museum.
Q. Is there an “access statement” I can look at?
A. We do have an “access statement” available. Please click
on “contact us” to request it.
Q. Are either of the apartments suitable for children?
A. It could work for a couple with a small baby.
